Dogs Like Ice Cream Too!
Dogs can be amazing date companions/third wheels if they aren’t too much of a handful. I am extremely fortunate that my dog is exceptionally friendly and well behaved aside from his need to stare uncomfortably at anyone with food. I stumbled upon Prigel Family Creamery when my students were on a mission to find the best local ice cream in Maryland.
Their AMAZING ice cream is homemade using milk from their cows on Bellevale Farm. Aside from the sweet treats, they also offer milk, cheese, grass fed beef, pasture raised pork and more. Our dog got to meet two little baby calves through the fence our last visit which was adorable. During the summer, they have live music on Friday nights and seating on this hillside, which makes it a perfect date on the farm out in the country. Check out their events page for more information!
